T
he Chasmosaurus was a dinosaur of the Cretaceous period. This dinosaur had a large bone at the base of its neck called a frill. This probably protected its neck from attacks. The Chasmosaurus is also believed to have roamed the area. Four and five toe tracks from this animal have been found in local coal mines as well as a few bones.
